I looked over to see this and heard Cale say: Hi delicate baby!

Cale: Oh no, mommy! I dropped some Cheerios in the gnat pool!

Me: It’s ok, just leave it and I’ll throw it out later. 

Cale: Well, maybe we can leave it so if the gnats get hungry they’ll have something to eat.

I had some salsa in this tiny bowl when Cale came around the corner and in the sweetest, most sensitive little voice said: I didn’t know you had such a cute little bowl like that! Aww!
