Cale was getting his hair brushed out in the tub so we talked during the 30 minutes that it took to detangle (were you imagining it would be any quicker?!). We talked about an invention that would wash and brush his hair, even dry and style it. He told me he wanted to make a store so other people could come and buy one of these “robots” too. I asked him what his thoughts were on pricing this device and he thought for a moment and said thoughtfully “I’m thinking 10 [dollars].” I asked if he was sure and to consider all the hours of hard work and materials that would go into this and I recommended that he maybe should go a little higher on his asking price. At which point he said “Ok, 20?” I again urged him to try going a little higher and he finalized his pricing at “$21.00.”
